While there’s still a chill in the air, spring is just around the corner. In preparation of enjoying the upcoming warmer weather, the Atlanta Foundation for Public Space has announced the dates for its April arts festival lineup. Ideal weekend activities for the entire family (and pups), each free, two-day event is unique and features a wealth of art, music, food, drinks, and more.
Spring is in the Air at the Spring Festival on Ponce
Returning for springtime fun in historic Olmsted linear Park (1451 Ponce de Leon Avenue, N.E. Atlanta, GA 30307), the Spring Festival on Ponce will be held on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, festival goers are invited explore 125 displays of local and regional fine art and crafts along with folk and “ outsider” art during the acclaimed two-day event. While taking in the beautiful landscape and charming park, attendees can enjoy an array of local food trucks, beverages, a children’s play area, live, acoustic music and much more. Sandy Springs Artsapalooza Returns This April
Sandy Springs Artsapalooza returns on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 17, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Featuring more than 150 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more, the festival will transform the beautiful tree-lined streets of Sandy Springs into an expansive outdoor art gallery. Festival goers will have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, participate in hands-on art activities, and enjoy live acoustic performances. The award-winning, two-day festival will also have a children’s area, gourmet food trucks with healthy alternatives and beverages. On Easter Sunday, the Atlanta Foundation For Public Spaces is joining forces with Heritage Sandy Springs to host the largest Easter Egg Hunt in Sandy Springs with over 5,000 hidden Easter eggs kicking off at 2 p.m. The festival is free to attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome. Art, Food, Music and More at the Duluth Spring Arts FestivalThe Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces is thrilled to once again present the Duluth Springs Arts Festival on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The two-day, outdoor festival will be held in the fun, vibrant, and culturally diverse City of Duluth that is home to one of the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities. Created for artists by artists, the festival will feature more than 85 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, jewelers, and more. Festival-goers will also have the opportunity to view artist demonstrations and enjoy local food trucks, live acoustic music, dance performances, and much more.
